Easy maintenance is built in with its proprietary soil composition and patent pending bonsai pot.
Watering
Watering is relaxing, because it is an act of nurturing.
Water your bonsai daily and even more on hot days. Never let the root ball dry out and there is no need to worry about “drowning" your bonsai, because air would fill the voids as water evaporates.
Exposure
Place your bonsai in full sun or partial shade. Photolysis keeps bonsai healthy, strong, and growing.
Ideally your bonsai should be kept outdoor and kept indoor a week or two at a time. They can be kept next to an open window or under a bright grow light out of necessity.
Fertilizer
We recommend fish emulsion with kelp every week or two during the summer months. Houseplant fertilizers, slow release lawn food, and chicken manure pellets are all fine; use less than full strength to avoid over fertilizing.
Pruning
Pruning your bonsai is like meditation, providing a moment of focus and concentration
You can never make a mistake pruning. New growth will provide opportunities to improve the design.
Repotting
Our bonsai has a root pruning mesh to reduce the need for frequent repotting. When you want to optimize the presenting by orientation or change a pot, simply lift the tree.
